This month's project is an updated version of a project from 2015, Bud Buddies. I've updated the designs and renamed the project Handy Magnet. In 2015, air pods didn't exist, and almost everyone had wired Ear Buds. The Bud Buddies helped to manage the cord. I still use my original sample when I fly with my wired Ear Buds. My students and I've realized the Bud Buddies are very handy for more than wrangling Ear Bud cords. You can stick anything metal to them, like sewing snips, seam ripper, or tweezers. They will hold your glasses or Sunnys, and they are handy as a bookmark or paper clip. The project is completed "In the Hoop" with two hoopings.

Hi I'm PJ
Since 2006 I’ve been a teacher at Montavilla Sewing Centers in the Portland Metro area. I design, produce and teach the monthly projects for Babylock Serger Club, Janome, BabyLock and Brother Machine Embroidery Club, and 8” Block of the month Club.
I have a lot of fun creating projects, designs, and patterns that incorporate techniques and products to encourage the students to get the most out of their Sergers and Embroidery Machines.
